Bat hunting for food is rife across West Africa. Our hunted bats project aims to reduce risk of declines to wild populations, while limiting contact with humans. We work to safeguard the Egyptian fruit bat that is dependent on caves and thus occurs only where caves or cave-like habitats are present.
